Skilled in supporting clients through the due diligence process our transaction team works closely with our corporate finance advisors from the start to finish of each transaction, together applying the right skills at the right time to create value for our clients. Underpinning the process our dedicated in-house research team ensures we find the right targets for buyers while maintaining a contemporary view of the buyer landscape.

Nick Blong
With decades of experience in the technology sectors, working with corporates and SMEs, Nick ran his own IT business for seventeen years. For the next twenty or so years, he has worked with owners to create value in their businesses and is now probably the most experienced Technology M&A adviser in the sector. Having led acquisitions and sales for himself, Nick understands first-hand the challenges that confront owners building through M&A and planning their exits.
Alice Smith
Alice brings strategic accounting experience to Ellexan. As a qualified accountant with a background in the technology sector and more recently with mergers and acquisitions, Alice leads the transaction team. Alice delivers the all-important skills required to manage the more technical elements of a company sale as well as substantial support in all aspects of Ellexan’s work with clients.
Lisa Horn
Head of Ellexan’s research team, Lisa is a highly experienced research analyst in the technology sector. Working for buyers, Lisa unearths off-market opportunities. More broadly, Lisa is constantly maintaining Ellexan’s knowledge base, ensuring that we understand which buyers are most active at any point in time. Lisa carries out comprehensive research in the UK but also extends her skills to target acquisitions globally.
